Foo Fighters - “Everlong”

A build up of chords, accompanied by some sick drumming and then enters David Grohl’s voice. This 1997 release is one of my all-time-favorite-songs, something I can always come back to. The Foo Fighters have a knack for making any song immediately sound familiar, like you’re always returning to a classic of your own music library.

An awesome song with an awesome music video but the Foo Fighters aren’t anything without Grohl. This guy inspired a generation to want to be drummers (I find it cosmically unfair that he can rock out on the guitar, sing and play the drums like that).

p.s. Yeah, yeah, I know people love the acoustic version but sorry, nothing beats those electric guitars.
