Okay, this is not going to make me popular in the eyes of some people, but I can’t take this anymore.

Who divided the country? Right-wing media. Limabugh, Beck, Hannity, Fox News have been attacking Obama over every single thing he does after the slavishly lavished praise on George Bush for eight years. The same thing was done to Clinton in the 90’s. Fair and balanced? Really?!
THAT IS NOT A MOSQUE in NYC. Freedom of religion applies to everyone, whether Christians like it or not. And, guess what, your opinion about it means shit unless you live in Manhattan. End of discussion.
Obama’s a racist? Really?! I’m not even going to dignify that. But the fact that most of these people have no idea that Glenn Beck did say that on Fox News is pretty indicative of how educated they are about the person that they follow hook, line and sinker.
Immigration policies do need to change, that’s true. But racial profiling is not the way to go. What, are we going to round them up in concentration camps?Perhaps if there were no AMERICAN CORPORATIONS willing to hire illegal immigrants, they would be less likely to brave illegal border crossings. Just a thought.
These people have been snowed. They buy whatever is fed to them without question and don’t investigate things for accuracy, facts and truthfulness. If you insulate yourself from dissent and differing opinion, there is no limit to what you can be made to believe. I’m sure that most of these people are reasonable and decent in their everyday life, but they’ve been led to believe that the only way to go through life is with fear and hatred in their hearts. It makes me sad and angry, but not angry at them, angry at the hucksters like Glenn Beck who fill their minds with bullshit and lies.

Don’t get me wrong, the other side would do the same thing, if they had the influence that talk radio has in the right-wing of America. But they don’t, so this kind of shit happens. The Fairness Doctrine needs to be re-instituted as an FCC rule.

Beck and Limbaugh and all of the rest of them PROFIT off these people. Glenn Beck made $32 million dollars last year. Do you really think he gives two shits about Joe and Jane American?
