This was one of the stories that aired during my shift tonight. We aired a whole hour of Storycorp stories and reflections by friends and family members of those who lost their lives on 9/11/01. 

It was, emotionally, a very hard hour of work. Trying to get through air breaks without letting my voice crack or breaking down crying after hearing such heartbreaking stories was very, very tough.
