Matt Drudge is a Fucking Clown
Period. For the past ten weeks, the famously  capricious British media has kept mum on the whereabouts of Prince Harry, third in line for the throne. So many reporters across the pond have been biting their tongues in keeping silent on this gigantic story that they probably needed stitches. Then, one attention-hungry dipshit over here in America decided that it was his duty to ruin the party for...

Growing Up Nate: That is NOT how you bungee jump
I had just seen someone bungee jump for the first time. I was five or six and was watching ABC’s the Wide World of Sports or something. I thought it looked like a lot of fun, being able to defy death with the help of just a piece of rope, that I ran outside to try it. Of course, had I the patience to stay and watch the whole segment, I would have probably seen that the rope they use is...

Another Reason to Like Greg Oden
Those of you who know me and know my feelings on basketball probably know that I’m a big Greg Oden fan. I like his game, I like his unselfishness and I really like his well-balanced sense of himself. He seems like a really personable and genuine human being. You don’t see those kind of people in everyday life these days, much less in multi-million dollar professional athletes.  In any...

Hillary Clinton Mocks Barack Obama During Campaign... →
I’ve been holding off on saying it for awhile now, but doesn’t Hillary just come off as a total bitch? I mean, how mature is that, to mock the candidate who is ahead of you in the polls and has won twice as many states as you? She looks petulant and childish and very much like a sore loser in this. I find that sad, because I used to have a great deal of respect for her…

Weekend Wrap: I hate Nader, Oscars. I like Rewind.
Be Kind, Rewind- Yeah, fist-bump love. Ralph Nader can take a long fuck off a short pier, as far as I’m concerned. He can take whatever GOP power-broker that pushed him into the race in a cynical attempt to strip votes from the eventual Democratic nominee with him, too. Seriously, we don’t want you to run for president, you ego-maniac. I’m pretty sure that America was done with...

Welcome Respite
I gotta say, I nearly fell asleep halfway through the Democratic debate last night. I’m both burned out on politics and tired of Hillary Clinton. Thankfully, we have more than a week until the next primaries. I plan on tuning out as much as I can over the next week or so and actually enjoying my life, instead of letting it revolve around the  endless speculation and nay-saying that...

After Tuesday’s thrashing in Wisconsin and Hawaii, some might be wondering what Hillary Clinton’s plans are now for how she can possibly still win the Democratic nomination for President. My little sister, Anna and I grew up on my great-grandfather’s farmstead, which meant that, until I was a teenager, we had various rotting outbuildings dotting our property, and to this very day a cavalcade of old farm implements parked here and there. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Democratic debate |... →
Pretty boring overall, in my opinion. When Hillary tried to attack Barack, it came across as staid and stupid, and he was smart enough to point out that it was “silly.” Her closing statement was a good sentiment, sure, but aside from channeling John Edwards, I thought that the close of it came off as melodramatic. Meh.
